Overview

Ideal for cruise or aeroplane passengers at the North airport. Tenerife is an island where its particular geology influences everything, so there is nothing better than having an official tour guide and geologist to show you the island.
You will be picked up at the port or airport (or any area of the metropolitan area, at your choice) and from there we will depart to see several of the main places on the island (the list below is just a suggestion). The trip is totally adaptable to your tastes, so once in the car we will decide where to go and what to do, whether to make many stops or few, etc. Always with the professional advice of the guide and driver.

  • Private tour.
  • Fully adaptable tour. You decide what to do and what not to do.
  • A geologist as a guide.
  • Amateur photographer, I will bring my camera and share the photos with you after the trip.
  • Child seats available if necessary.
  • Large car (SUV), but maximum four passengers. It's not a minivan.

Activity itinerary

Mirador de Chipeque
  • 20m
Fantastic views of the Orotava Valley, Teide, the Izaña Observatory and the sea of clouds.
Centro de Visitantes El Portillo
  • 20m
Interesting visitor centre and its botanical garden. Here we will see very interesting things about the flora of the national park. Stunning mountain views.
Teide National Park
  • 3h
Teide National Park is the most visited in Europe and ninth in the world. In it we will see examples, explained by the guide, of a multitude of geological and natural phenomena. It has the Teide-Pico Viejo stratovolcano which, at 3,718 m, is the highest peak in Spain. Rising 7,500 m above the ocean floor, it is considered the third highest volcanic structure in the world and stands in a spectacular setting. The visual impact of the location is even greater due to atmospheric conditions that create constantly changing textures and tones in the landscape and a "sea of clouds" that forms a visually stunning backdrop for the mountain. The global importance of Teide lies in the fact that it is a living example of the geological processes underlying the evolution of oceanic islands.
Orotava Valley
  • 1h
Created by a colossal landslide, the valley is today an orchard where banana trees and vines are planted and where life bustles. Spectacular views of the mountains, the sea, and the neighbouring island of La Palma. Depending on the time available and your interests, we will visit a cafe with impressive views, viewpoints on the road or the beautiful city of La Orotava, with its palaces and beautiful historic centre.
Centro Historico de San Cristobal de la Laguna
  • 1h
UNESCO World Heritage, for being the first Spanish/American colonial city. Its historic centre contains the first ideal “city-territory” drawn according to philosophical principles. Its wide streets and open spaces are flanked by beautiful churches and public and private buildings dating from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
