What you can expect

Do not miss the opportunity to meet these three essentials of Madrid’s surroundings in one day!

Discover two of the cities with more historical importance of the Spanish plateau and World Heritage: Avila, known for its 12th-century walls and Segovia, where one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts in the world is located. Also, visit the Monastery of El Escorial and its basilica, burial place of the Kings of Spain.

We will leave Madrid early in the direction of Avila, there, we will make a stop at the four-post viewpoint. Then, we will go to the city to begin the guided walking tour, we will pass through San Vicente’s Sanctuary, the Cathedral and of course through the walls.

Then we will go to Segovia, our guide will explain everything about the creation of the aqueduct by the Romans. We will follow our route through the streets of the city centre, we will pass through the Cathedral, continuing through the Canonjías area, until arriving at the famous Alcazar, symbol of the art and history of Spain. There, you will have free time to eat, do some shopping or access any of the monuments on your own.

Once the break is over, we will go to El Escorial, to make the guided tour through the interior of the monastery. There, by the hand of our guide, we will discover this architectural ensemble that includes a royal palace, a basilica, a pantheon, a library, a school and a monastery.
