Great experience. Very friendly. Captain that did the snorkeling was knowledgeable and nice. Lunch was great. Snorkeling was fun. Would recommend this tour company.

This was super fun! They picked us up from our hotel, took us snorkeling (we even found a MASSIVE barracuda -- it was amazing!) and then provided us with lunch and time to explore the shops in Puerto Morelos. One side note though -- there was no lobster lunch. You could choose between quesadilla, chicken / beef fajitas, cheeseburger, or a burrito, but lobster was not an option. We were okay with that, but it would've been nice to know ahead of time. Just felt a little mis-presented. If you're going on this excursion to see the cool reef in Puerto Morelos, totally do it, but if you're going for the lobster find another excursion. Other than that, it was super fun.

Snorkeling in the Puerto Morelos National Park was a wonderful experience, a must do adventure when you’re in the Riviera Maya. However, I would not recommend this particular tour agency. I joined the group at the Puerto Morelos meeting point so cannot comment on the transportation aspect. The intro and preparation for departure was chaotic. The boat was too small for 12 guests plus 3 staff. The “guide” provided very little info about the reef or the town, but that could be because she didn’t speak English well. Once we were in the water, the captain rushed us around the area. The reef was so spectacular that I’d prefer to spend more time focusing on 1 or 2 spots instead of merely a minute or 2. It felt more like a swimming match than a quality snorkeling experience. Also, the tour agency charged another US $20 for park entrance fee, but the official park site showed 68 pesos. This tour’s markup is ridiculo. If not for the beauty of the reef, I’d give this experience 1 star instead.

We were able to get picked up at our hotel, which was great. Once we arrived at the property, we were given detailed instructions about the day. Then the boat staff took good care of us, making sure we all were given our snorkels and fins. They made a very strong effort to find sea life for us to view, and we were able to see things like a stingray and a barracuda along with multiple Tropical fish. Afterwards we were given a tasty lunch and had the opportunity to taste some artisan tequila. They were very good but really expensive! Beware the bar which charged us $22 for a regular margarita with 1800 tequila. That was our only complaint about the day..

Absolutely ridiculous.... on the ad it says $15/person tax is not included on one line and then it says $20 on the other line... and then we've called from our resort to confirm to go 24hrs beforee. But then, they send an email the night before saying its now $30 you have to pay per person. They are abusing the 24hr free cancellation policy. We've contacted expedia for a full refund and still waiting for it. So we ended up researching and found, om delfine scuva dive, at puerto moreles and got a better deal with no hidden fees. But think about it.... do you need pay tax in usd as travellers? Why can you just make it a flat fee instead?

This was hands down the best local tour available. No frills, but just honest and knowledgeable guys to show you the reef they call home. I would book this 100x over any other commercialized tour available.

We had a nice time. There was only one other couple, so a very small group. It was choppy on the water, but that was ok. Saw lots of fish including several barracuda. A nice meal and free time at the end.

I recently booked a snorkeling activity through Expedia, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The coral reefs were dark brown and sparse, making it difficult to enjoy the beauty of the underwater world. The limited variety of fish and the need to constantly follow the tour guide resulted in a blurred view of the water. Moreover, the small boat used for the tour felt unsafe for travel. The entire experience was exhausting, with the boat docking far away, leaving swimmers tired after a 30+30 minute swim. If you're a first-time snorkeler, it might be interesting, but for those who've snorkeled before, this location is far from ideal. At a cost of $70 plus tip, I expected a more enjoyable and scenic snorkeling adventure. I strongly advise against choosing this option if you've had previous snorkeling experiences, as it falls short of being a satisfactory snorkel area.
