If you are in Puno and you want to visit the Colca Canyon, it is no longer necessary to go to the city of Arequipa; before you would have impossible because now no longer! With us it is no longer necessary to go to Arequipa since you can continue your trip directly from Puno to Chivay Colca Canyon.
In this way, with this tour you will save time and money since we leave from Puno and on the second day the tour will end in Arequipa.

Departure place: Puno - Pick up at the hotel (if you are in the city centre).

End of service: Arequipa - Historic Centre.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - Puno - Patahuasi - Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve - Patapamapa Volcano Viewpoint - Chivay

• 6:00 AM. We will pick you up from your respective hotels in the city of Puno to go to the town of Chivay.
• We will make stops on the route and our guide will explain each place.
• You will also be able to appreciate South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas.
• We stopped at Pata Pampa (“El Mirador de los Andes”), the highest part of the route at 4,800 metres above sea level.
• We arrived in Chivay at approximately 1:00 pm
• Hotel accommodation.
• In the afternoon - Visit to the thermal baths (optional, on behalf of the traveller).
• Overnight in Chivay.

DAY 2 - Chivay - Traditional villages - Viewpoints - Cruz del Cóndor - Colca Canyon

• 6:00 AM. Breakfast
• Then we go to the viewpoint of the Cruz del Cóndor where we will stay for a period of approximately 1 hour.
• From here you can see in its greatest dimension the depth of the Colca Canyon and also the majestic flight of the Condor at a short distance.
• On the return we will observe archaeological remains, Inca agricultural terraces, pre Inca and other panoramic views of the Colca Canyon.
• We will pass through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma and Yanque, where we will make stops to observe its church, artisan centre, the typical clothing of its inhabitants, among others.
• Return to Chivay.
• Free time for lunch.
• Departure to the city of Arequipa.
• 5:00 pm - Arrival in Arequipa (approximate time).
• End of the tour in the historic centre in the main square.
