This tour is led by well-versed guides, employees of the Mannheim Tourist Information Bureau. They will take you to selected fascinating sights within the city, and tell you all about the foundation and development of Mannheim. The joys of Segway riding are an additional attraction.
You will start at Mannheim Station, once described as the “Mannheim milk bottle,” and travel onwards to the water tower on beautiful Friedrichsplatz. After this you will pass the monument to Carl Benz, inventor of the car, and the Luisenpark, on your way over the Kurpfalzbrücke, through the city's Baroque grid to the marketplace. After this you will visit the synagogue, the town hall, and the Reiss-Engelhorn Museum. The route then turns towards the palace, and then back to the start point, Mannheim Station.
