Located in northern California, about a 2 ½ hour drive north of Sacramento, lies the charming town of Redding. Named after Benjamin B. Redding, who worked for the Southern Pacific Railway and routed tracks through the land, Redding faced its fair share of hardships in the 19th and 20th centuries. However, the creation of its three dams brought jobs and beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities. Today, Redding is celebrated for its commitment to the environment, access to trails, parks, and the river, as well as its stunning Sundial Bridge. On this adventure hunt, you'll witness the town's dedication to greenery and the outdoors while soaking in all it has to offer.
