Enjoy 4-hours exploring the night view of the Kowloon area of Hong Kong. Affectionately known as the ‘Dark Side’ of Hong Kong you will see the city at its grittiest and most captivating.

You will enjoy an in-depth exploration of Kowloon, discover Michelin-rated street food, become immersed in the local culture, and learn about Kowloon’s history. Your local guide will cover everything from the past to the present, explaining Kowloon’s transformation through to the modern day.

In Sham Shui Po you will ‘eat like a local’ as your professional guide introduces you to a range of local street food including two restaurants that have received Michelin ratings with Bib Gourmand awards.

Next, you will explore Mong Kok, the Goldfish Market, and Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront where, if time allows, you can watch the famous Hong Kong light show at 8 pm after the tour finishes.

  • This is a tour about 'The Dark Side' of Hong Kong. We explore Kowloon discovering some of the 'darker' topics; poverty, triads, prostitution, grey markets... We also include a mini street food tour of the best local eats in Sham Shui Po.
  • We cover between 4 and 6 street food stops in Sham Shui Po and try to include two Michelin-rated Bib Gourmand eats on ever tour. Stops might differ depending on your interests, the walking pace, and weather etc
  • This is not a Michelin star food tour as Vaitor describes it - Viator refuses to remove that description even though we have told them it is misrepresenting our tour.
  • Please look at the correct tour details on the Hello Hong Kong website. If the tour is not what you want please do not book or request a refund. It is an excellent tour and gets excellent reviews but it is misrepresented by Viator.
  • A maximum of 9 people per tour.
  • Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
  • You will need to be able to walk 5 miles at a reasonable pace and it hot humid weather.
