Discover St. Moritz, a skiing resort town situated 1800 metres above sea level which is also known to have hosted the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympics games.
Start your tour at the Municipal hall of St. Moritz which is the office of the municipal administration. It is situated on the same premises where a hotel previously existed and was converted into the current Municipal hall before the Winter Olympics of 1948.
Get to see the Leaning Tower which dates back to the 12th Century, a remanent of the old Church of St. Mauritius which was destroyed in 1893. It is a famous sight in St. Moritz.
You will walk by the Memorial Fountain to Bylandt which was built as a memorial to Jules Bylandt who died in 1908 during the Cresta Run.
Located in front of the town hall of St. Moritz, you will see the St. Mauritius Fountain, built in 1910, it is a memorial of the leader of a Roman Legion from 300 AD.
You will be visiting the St. Moritz Church situated in the centre of St. Moritz Dorf. It is a Protestant church that was built in Neo-gothic style between 1785 to 1787.
Visit an artists house located at the eastern side of the Lake St. Moritz. The Mili Weber House contains a comprehensive collection of Mili Weber’s paintings and art works. Her house was built by her father and brother Emil.
