Embark on an unforgettable journey to become a certified Open Water Diver in the beautiful waters of Tamarindo. This comprehensive course, recognised worldwide, will teach you the skills and knowledge needed to dive up to 18 metres (60 feet) deep with a buddy of the same level.
Day 1: Begin your adventure at 2 pm with five PADI theory lessons at a diving centre, complete with engaging video material. If you choose the TDI-SDI certification, the theory portion will be sent to you as e-learning, allowing you to study at your own pace.
Day 2: Dive into five confined water sessions, where you'll practice essential diving skills in a controlled environment. These sessions are available for both PADI and TDI-SDI certifications.
Day 3: Arrive at 7:00 am in front of the diving centre, ready for your first two open water dives. After loading the equipment onto the boat, you'll head towards the Catalina Islands. Experience the thrill of diving up to 12 metres (40 feet) deep. The return to Tamarindo is around noon.
Day 4: Once again, gather at 7:00 am for the final two open water dives, reaching depths of up to 18 metres (60 feet). Enjoy the stunning underwater scenery and put your newly acquired skills to the test. You'll be back in Tamarindo by midday.
Upon successful completion of the course, you'll receive your PADI or TDI-SDI Open Water Diver certification, opening the door to countless underwater adventures.
