In order to get to know Bologna, I will explain why the city is called 'The red', the fat and the learned, and show you the symbol of the city the two leaning Towers, Asinelli and Garisenda.
From there, we will head to the beautiful Maggiore square with its arched colonnades where we can enter the San Petronio Basilica, dedicated to the patron saint of Bologna.
I will show you the majestic Paviglione portico leading to the Archiginasio, where there was once a silk-worm market, and Neptune fountain, in Neptune Square. I'll show you the symbol of the city the two leaning Towers, Asinelli and Garisenda, and then head to the secretive Santo Stefano church. It's possible for me to make an appointment with some “sfogline” or pasta makers and you can watch them in action.
