Tijuca National Park has a wide variety of plant and animal species, including over 300 species of birds, 2,500 species of trees and plants, around 60 species of amphibians and reptiles, and numerous species of mammals such as the capuchin monkey and the sloth. The entire park is a giant web of hiking trails and an incredible place for trekking.

The Vista Chinesa (Chinese View) is a popular viewpoint located in Tijuca National Park, situated in the hills of Rio de Janeiro.
