Watch live demonstrations and listen to bilingual commentary by former sumo wrestlers to learn about this iconic Japanese sport.

If you want to experience sumo first-hand, the highlight of the event will be the opportunity to enter the ring yourself. Feel what it’s like to be in the ring as you have a go at being a rikishi, or sumo wrestler.

*If there are many applicants, one representative in a group or a lottery may be held.

As well as experiencing sumo, enjoy chanko-nabe and other Japanese delicacies, receive a photo with a sumo wrestler, and take home an original sumo goods set as souvenirs.

Enjoy a sumo show arranged to be easily enjoyed by adults and children alike. Learn the rules of Sumo and how to practice it, watch demonstrations, and then have a go at Sumo Show yourself in Asakusa, Tokyo. Enjoy Chanko-nabe (chicken hot pot) prepared by former sumo wrestlers. Also, original souvenir set and Photo! Children from 0 to 2 years old are free of charge, but no seat and meal is provided. 3 to 12 years old must apply at the child rate. "Vegetarian and Vegan meals are available, but must be requested at least 2 days prior to the reservation date. “We are not able to provide gluten-free, halal meals, but customers are welcome to bring their own.” *Wheelchair-accessible seating is limited, so please be sure to inform us at the time of reservation. *Late Show at 8:30 p.m. does not include a meal, but all-you-can-drink is included.
