Overview

We will visit Santiago Tuxtla, the Plaza de Armas where the Colossal Head of the Olmec culture is located, a monolith of more than 38 tonnes in weight, in addition to enjoying the picturesque town.
We continue the trip to San Andrés Tuxtla.
We will go to the Salto de Eyipantla Waterfall located on the Comoapan River, whose waterfall forms a curtain 40 metres wide and 50 metres high.
Visit the mystical town of Catemaco and enjoy the charm and charm of this place, appreciate the handicrafts, its church, boardwalk and a beautiful view of the Lagoon.

The decree of November 5, 1932 ordered that the municipality and head of Santiago Tuxtla be called Juan de la Luz Enríquez. In 1936 its original name of Santiago Tuxtla was restored. We will visit the monumental Olmec head in the middle of the picturesque town with its museum that keeps important pieces of this culture. We continue 14 km more to see San Andres Tuxtla one of its famous cigar factories and tobacco plantations in this region, recognised internationally.
