Once checked in at the shop and all equipment has been loaded, guests will be transported to the Koloa Landing, our shore dive training area and dive site. Upon arrival, students will be given a detailed briefing about the fundamentals of SCUBA diving, including basic theory, safety, equipment use, and underwater communication. Once the briefing is complete, participants will have the chance to practice several core skills and get comfortable in the water with their SCUBA equipment. Once the training portion of the Intro course is complete. Our maximum depth for each dive is 40 ft, and we will do two dives from the shore, exploring two distinctly different sections of the reef. Any skills performed during your course can be credited towards a PADI Open Water Course if you decide to become a certified recreational SCUBA diver. Once finished your instructor will transport you back to the Dive Shop to process your successful course completion. *Important*: This experience requires participants to remain below an altitude of 1,000ft for 18 hours after their last dive. Restrictions include interisland and commercial flights, helicopter tours, skydiving, and trips to Waimea Canyon.
