We’ll meet at the meeting point in the port and head to Valparaíso, a coastal city known as Chile’s cultural capital. Upon arrival, we’ll begin with a view of the port and the colourful boats at Muelle Prat. We’ll continue to Plaza Sotomayor and then ride traditional funiculars up the hills for panoramic views, exploring Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre. Stroll through the vibrant streets filled with street art, colonial architecture, and local culture. Discover immigrant influences at Paseo Yugoslavo and Pasaje Bavestrello, and taste a local alfajor. Visit iconic sites like the colourful staircases with Calle 13's "Latinoamérica" lyrics, Pasaje Gálvez, and Paseo Atkinson, showcasing British heritage. See Restaurante Brighton, Pasaje Pastor Theodor Schmidt, the Lutheran Church, and Hotel Manoir Atkinson. Don’t miss the Piano Staircase and St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral. We’ll end the tour with stunning views from Paseo Dimalow.
