We are blessed to have large numbers of Chinese immigrants which means we also have many authentic Chinese restaurants. Subject to availability, we will be sampling Shanghai steamed soup dumpling, Tianjin pork bun, Chinese donut, deep-fried taro dumpling, beef wrap and many more. Not only will travellers taste great food, but they will also learn so much about the history behind those foods. Your tour guide David was born in northern China and immigrated to Canada at the age of 15. He may not be a great cook but love to eat out and try out different restaurants/hidden food courts every week! Most importantly, he loves history and spends tonnes of time researching the history behind each food. At the end of this tour, your knowledge of Asian cuisine are guaranteed to stand out among your friends!
