What you can expect

The ride is in a 4x4 jeep through the unique valleys of WadiRum and beautiful mountain formations. We can start at 10 a.m. or at 3 p.m.
Together we will take a wonderful tour on the other side of the WadiRum - from 3 hours to a day without an overnight stay or overnight under the stars in the Valley of the Moon.

Meeting point for my guests with their own car is my headquarters in Disah. From the Desert Highway in Rashidija, turn towards WadiRum. The car can also be safely parked there. Another meeting point is the tourist centre in Wadi Rum Village.

On a 3-hour jeep tour we drive to the Giant rock bridge at Jebel Kharaz. This Bridge is located outskirts of Wadi Rum Reserve. The opening of white sandstone has a measured span of 34 metres.
You can easily climb the bridge and the view opens up the vastness of the desert. A must for photography enthusiasts. Right next to it is the Jabal Al Khaza bridge.
The arch has a measured span of 26.4 metres.

On a day tour we discover to the bridges and Thamudic and Nabataean inscriptions and a Thamudic fountain from which water was collected in the past. The journey is the reward. We see an incredible landscape and stop at the most beautiful places to the huge rock bridge.
In between, we have lunch together, which I prepare.
On the way back we enjoy the sunrise in a wonderful place.

On a day tour with overnight we sleep at night under the stars in tents or a cave.
I work exclusively in hiking bivouacs. In fact, I am against any idea of fixed camps. These unfortunately too many and mostly illegal permanent installations destroy the landscape.
I have always a place for tours with more than one night. Here I set up a camp with seat mats and cushions. A cosy fire burns in the centre. I prepare a typical Bedouin dinner, make tea and after sunset the beautiful starry sky opens up and looking at the Milky Way. We sleep here as is customary among Bedouins in the desert and will wake up in the morning to birdsong. Everything else is silent. After a good breakfast, we go back. A night under the stars is a highlight at WadiRum. This is where you are closest to the life of the Bedouins.
