At an easily accessible hands-on venue in front of Kanazawa Station, participants will dress up in custom-made Japanese food artisan costumes and enjoy the company of a delightful, nationally certified local chef (Samurai Chef). Even beginner cooks will be able to enjoy this event. Participants will actually make 5 dishes from scratch with the support of the instructor. Authentic Nigiri-zushi Jiben-ni, a local dish representative of Kanazawa Dashimaki Tamago (rolled egg) A simple Japanese starter using spinach. Miso soup The most important element of Japanese cuisine is Japanese dashi (umami). By utilising Japanese dashi in your cooking, you will be able to experience the essence of Japanese cuisine. You will learn the secrets of Japanese cuisine that only Japanese chefs know, how to use Japanese knives, and how to use unique Japanese cooking utensils. The lecturer's words are converted into voice in real time by the latest translator and are also projected on a large monitor. You can also learn how to cook delicious Japanese cuisine overseas. Petit dessert and aperitif (Kanazawa NO1 brand plum wine or sake) are also included.
