Activity itinerary

Between May and November each year over 30,000 Humpback whales migrate between their Summer feeding grounds in Antarctica and the warm waters of the tropics and the Great Barrier Reef. The Tweed/Gold coast is the perfect place to experience the whales as they swim close to shore along our coastline. "Wardjam"-Bundjalung for "Dolphin" is a fast and stable purpose built whale watching vessel with comfortable seating for 12 guests. Our boat is perfect for getting to the whales quickly and safely for an intimate encounter with a small group. Listen to their incredible song with our onboard hydrophone and learn about Humpback behaviour from our on board marine biologist. We usually encounter other marine species such as dolphins, turtles and migratory birds as well as the whales. If no whales are sighted you are welcome to join the next tour free of charge, but with so many whales migrating this doesn`t really happen!
