This introduction into unlocking the mysteries of the desert begins with a journey into the World Famous, Arizona Sonora Desert Museum! You will be introduced to the unique plant and animal life of the Sonoran Desert, find out exactly who calls the Desert home at this spectacular nature preserve. Beast and fowl, insect and plant all of nature comes together in this lush desert setting.
Next we will venture into the heart of the Sonoran Preserve through a forest of spectacular Saguaro, spiney cholla and Prickly Pear. Red Hill Visitors Centre is truly a vision to behold and a perfect opportunity for the desert to show off her wares.
Following a path leading us through scenic Picture Rocks, we will land in the lush gardens of Tohono Chul! Leave the rest of the world behind as you explore the gardens and galleries of Arizona's native Tohono O'odham Tribe.
