Characteristic to North-Macedonian wine is the strong fruity taste, so they are not shy to show themselves. Wine bar Bacchus, located in the heart of the old town, owns 250 different types of Macedonian wines.
When arriving the host will welcome you with a local drink. Afterwards the first wine will be poured in the glasses. The sommelier will demonstrate the way of drinking and provide explanation about the origin, taste, brand and quality of the wine. This applies for all three rounds.
