White Stork Synagogue

You will explore the Jewish heritage sites in the District of Four Denominations. This includes the prominent 19th century White Stork Synagogue. Inside, you can learn about the 800 years long history of the local Jewish community, as well as about their deployment to the camps during WWII and the anti-minority politics during the communist era. Hidden from view in the same courtyard is also an older and more traditional Small Synagogue (Sznul).
