"A very good overnight stop before catching 9am ferry as foot passengers to Dublin. Free parking. We intended to take a taxi but were warned about their reliability and availability. We booked the long stay Stena car park at the passenger terminal through Just Park at £19 for 2 and a half days, probably the price of a taxi. Just 7 minute from hotel. Very nice meal in the Bay Restaurant and an excellent included breakfast. Breakfast service starts at 6.45."

"Room was well presented and very clean. The bathroom was the same apart from the sink took forever to drain. My biggest issue was the mattress. It was horrendous. Very uncomfortable, thin and cheap. I had a really bad sleep. The food was good but the service was poor. I was given my food but the waiter didn’t give me any cutlery, I had go looking for some. I’m not sure how they thought I was going to eat my food. "

"The property was beautiful, in a great location. The surrounding area was amazing and we got so lucky with the weather. The Bay View & the Stag were great pubs and the chippy directly opposite was a god-send on arrival. The facilities at the property were more than sufficient, more than enough of everything. "Booked only four weeks in advance at a very busy time of year. Good value at the peak of Summer time mid August. Two adults a 3 year old and a six year old plenty of room in the property. Would definitely return in the future. Only complaint was we were promised internet / WiFi but not available it didn't detract from the stay."

"Great little getaway for myself, my wife and our dogs. The place itself is finished to a really high standard and very cosy, especially when the log burner is on. The mezzanine is great and has a really comfy bed. The only thing that would have made it better is if the front area was fenced off with it being dog friendly however that certainly didnt ruin it for us. Would definitely recommend "
