"This is an historic hotel with a great restaurant and good staff. Comfortable beds. The elevator is one that the staff has to operate for you, so i found myself taking the stairs all the time. Amenities like ice machines, vending, etc are a little more challenging. If you walk down to the desk, they will happily get you a bucket of ice and there are some things for purchase but thats it. "Comfortable, high end furnishings and a quiet neighborhood. The home is lake side and we spent many hours out on the back deck. Shaded by an electric awning made afternoons a delight. Everything, from the bedding to the entertainment areas were super comfortable. My dealing with the host family felt like I was talking to my old neighbors. We found the surrounding towns to be places to visit again. Wasn't at all disappointed."
