"The room was very large for a hotel in Paris, and an easy walk from Gare de Montparnasse. We reserved a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, but the outside of the window was so dirty that we felt as though we were viewing it through a dirty cloud. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure, but the tub was slow to drain, the fixture to switch between shower and tub was in disrepair, and the mechanism to drain the bath was completely broken. Also one of the two push buttons for the toilet...
