"We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Local Motel & Shops. The room was spacious, clean, and very welcoming. We were nervous that they offered both ear plugs and a white noise machine, but it was more for your comfort than need! "The hotel was under a remodel and so they provided ear plugs should be have needed them. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool and hot tub was clean, but later in the day they over chlorinated it which was a small problem after being in there for a bit as most ppl in there ended up coughing from it. The room was very clean with a nice view. My room was upgraded for free because they over booked, probably also didn’t have a room or two ready because of the remodel.
