"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming.

"I had been travelling for 12 hours when I arrived at the hotel and was tired. Check in was quick and straight forward. The Hotel is an older property but is well kept and the rooms are comfortable with everything I needed for my 2 night stay. "This is truly a gemstone - not in terms of fancy- fancy but rather solid, honest 3 Star in a superbly quiet and beautiful atmosphere.
Easy walk to the largely unmolested beach, even easier walk to completely unchanged nature at the backdrop. GREAT breakfast! This to me is a bit like time travelling- in a good way!

"This place has a certain charm because it is smaller and very relaxed as well as 2 to 4 walk to all the restaurants and even the beach. The town is very special in that it is small but has lots of dining options and is located about 200 meters from the beach. Rooms are smallish but adequate."

"Room was comfortable and clean enough but the lifts were awful, staying on the 9th floor, 16 floors total, you couldn't not use the loft. Only 2 of 4 running when I visited, a colleague was stuck in a loft for 1 hour. Very old and slow, regular long wait times. For this reason, I wouldn't stay again."
