"The Atlantic is a downtown hotel built in about 1960 that has been renovated cosmetically but has some quirks. There is no AC and no way to regulate the room temperature at all. A phone number is provided to change the temperature. Fortunately we were on the top floor with a balcony so we just opened the door. Being on a busy city road led to noise with a door open. "This small hotel is very quaint. Our room was clean. The weather was warm when we stayed there and the fact that there was no airconditioning was uncomfortable for us. We were able to get a fan the second night. If you have some mobility issues the stairs and steps are a bit tricky. The breakfast buffet and choices were lovely and so was the service and the staff. The elevator lacked good lighting and warm almost pitch dark. So for us at our age we would not stay there again but for anyone else...
