"The room was very clean. Only dust found was on the fluorescent bulbs behind bed. No bugs on ceiling or dirt found anywhere else. Bathroom updated and drains clean. Only place in Australia we stayed where drains were clean. There was a hook to hang towel for shower. The guest book was a great read we visited the restaurant across the street and tunnel. Bed was firm and pillows flat but got two. Staff was super friendly. This is the best place to stay in Gin Gin."

"This pub hotel is a great stop over for the family for the Mackay to Brisbane drive. Price was good, family room was huge, clean and felt like sleeping in a great big Queenslander. Female toilets and showers are refurbished and looking fresh. Pub directly downstairs provided a good meal with Pizza and huge pub meals available. The beer on tap was cold and the outdoor playground was loved by my kids. Stayed here twice now on our adventure to brisbane and back. Also a great coffee shop just down...

"The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Bathroom facilities were good. Car parking was good. I was disappointed that the room did not have a toaster. There was no cloth for washing dishes but a tea towel was provided. Microwave provided but no cutlery was there if you did heat meals in it. Minor points but something to think about. The bed was very comfortable!"

"Nice, quiet and not overwhelming, we let the owners know the day after checkin that the shower head in our room was leaking terribly, and they came back the very next morning (on christmas eve no less!) with a brand new replacement shower head. The motel itself is located in such a convinient area, right across the road from a 24-hour convinience store/ takeaway and a stones throw from just about everything you'd ever need, would definitely stay here again :> my only gripe is that the sheets...
