Very good ensuite room with fridge and microwave. Very clean and with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is located in the city centre and is very convenient for amenities and attractions.

Good location, very quiet, got a good night sleep, easy check-in. Clean and comfortable. Decor and maintenance in much need of updating. Good value for money.

Self-check-in was easy and explained well. Only staff contact was with cleaners who were exceptional. Room had a microwave, dishes, fridge and kettle, which saved me a fortune as I could prepare my own meals.

Awful, the room seemed to by not cleaned after the previous guests. We notified immediately and someone was supposed to come to clean up, but nobody showed up. There was one tiny towel, for 2 guests arriving, bathroom floor flooded, no coffee and dirty cup on the side table. It was only one night stay, so we have stayed, sleeping in clothes as not comfortable if the sheets were clean, as the bed was a mess on arrival. Would not recommend at all. No cancellations, so after paying almost £70 had to spent the night

Someone started to break the wall with a hammer at 19:30, and it continued for more than 2 hours in front of my room. Hearing some pieces of stones scattered, how can I stay with conformity and pleasure? If that was pre-scheduled construction work, I should have been told about it.

Getting booked in and checking in was very easy and is the first time I have done so with nothing but a key code and I like how hassle free it was, the accommodation itself was more than adequate and very fairly priced. Overall i rate the accommodation high enough that we probably would choose it again for our next time in the city. The only thing was Unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable enough to stay both nights due to the lack of staff members or knowledge of the procedures to deal with the issues that the guest next-door had with us. It made us feel like we couldn't fully enjoy our first time away together because even if we so much as had a giggle or a laugh they'd bang a door or slam something. I'd of been more than respectfully understanding say if it was late or over the top but it was the weekend and we went to have fun .

I understand that this is a low-budget hotel and I don't want to be completely negative. There were some good points, the location was great and the communication was very clear. However, in the room, the lampshade on the ceiling was held up only by the bulb, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower head was broken and wouldn't stay up without being propped up. Another point to note is that some of the other guests were not considerate when entering/exiting the building and the door would regularly slam and vibrate through the building, and this could be improved with some kind of mechanism on the door to prevent it slamming quite so hard. I would also suggest investing just a small amount of money in the rooms to update them and make them feel a little fresher (I was a bit confused as to why a hotel room in Aberdeen had a picture of pre-9/11 New York on the wall, for example). Not a terrible place, but it could do with a little care and attention.

Small room to be expected for price. Run down and in need of refurb. Bed sheets disgusting with yellow stains - had to go to nearby Asda to buy bath sheets to cover the bed. I arrived late in the evening, and when I conducted accommodation management to inform them I’d be looking for a refund they informed that I should have called and they would have sorted it. To be fair to management, they did try and contact me but I was in no mood to receive a call late at night or for somebody to arrive with new bed sheets close to midnight. Clean bedsheets should be a prerequisite to any booking - regardless of price. My request for refund was rejected.

Best value for money property in Aberdeen. Rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave as well as having a full size kitchen in the basement. Location of the property is right in the city centre so everything is walkable distance. Unfortunately no free parking however there are lots of overnight secure parking areas available for cheap. Self check in was quick and easy. Cannot fault this property on anything and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Aberdeen. Will definitely be back thank you!
