"Traumhaft schön gelegene Unterkunft. Elena die Vermieterin wohnt mit im Haus aber man kann in Ruhe seinen Urlaub genießen, weiß aber das immer jemand da ist wenn man etwas braucht. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit 2 Sonnenterrassen und traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und die Küste. Einzig der Zugang zur Unterkunft ist nicht so ganz einfach da die Straße die dort hinführt sehr sehr schmal ist. "The communication with the host was excellent. We received a very warm welcome. The apartment was very clean. Everything was as described, even better. A very beautiful and quiet area, very well-kept garden and house. The host and his partner said goodbye to us very warmly. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. If we go on holiday in Catania again and have a car, we will stay in with this family again. Thank you a lot for your hospitality!"

"The property itself was fine. The neighborhood was not a goid neighborhood. The parking was a nightmare. No onsite parking. I asked before hand and was told lots of parking. Not so true. "The place was clean but it needs love....some repairs and paint job. An overall feeling of neglect. The terrace is just like the picture and we had a lovely afternoon there. The staff is very good and answers quickly. They made the difference. Without them I believe we would have left. We were there for a week. We took the tourist bus that picks you up in town ( about a 10 minutes walk just after the grocery store Coop, and brings you to Catania. On the way back it also stops at Aci Castello....

"Our stay at Ornella’s appartment was wonderful. The place is super comfortable with each bed room having its own en suite bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed and front room was lovely. Ornella was a fantastic host and took great care of us. Restaurants recommendations were great especially bar Marino a short walk away for amazing pastry’s made in house for breakfast. Highly recommend"

Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."
