"Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand. The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable. It would be ideal for working from, as there is a large desk. There is is a desk infront of a mirror for doing makeup, too - does not always happen in hotels! Huge selection at the breakfast buffet - only one small change there - better sausages :) Added bonus - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi! Would definitley stay there again if in Limerick!"

"The hotel is modern and stylish but not too upmarket. The room has a good, hard bed; the area is quiet, a little further away from the centre of the town and it allows decent sleep. The breakfast is very good if you pay for it.. ( it’s worth the money ) .. The kitchen is a good standard, and, there’s a bar. It’s a very good hotel, believe!!"

"One night only but was out for most of the evening. Dined in the restaurant where service was prompt up to main course as we arrived after 9pm and ‘the kitchen was closing’. After main course was served, restaurant staff disappeared and the only staff were those using the restaurant as a thoroughfare on their way home off shift (presumably banqueting staff) who didn’t look left or right in case someone asked them something…. "Dromoland Castle was absolutely magical! The garden and grounds were stunning and the castle was indescribable. But the staff was my favourite part. They make you feel like family while there and we’ll be talking about our stay until the next time we get to go. Make sure to do the activities ….the archery, clay shooting and horse carriage specifically. And splurge on a specialty cocktail in the lounge at night, it’s worth every penny.
