"The place looked nice. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Took personal care of their guest and even had suggestions. Gave us a little gift at our checkout. Breakfast was good however for lunch and dinner you need to go into town. It was heavily windy and raining during our stay so phone signal and internet was weak but they had a pool table, games and books to keep us entertained. "The Harrington House was all we had hoped for and more. The perfect place for a quiet and restful stay in a beautiful place."

"The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean. The carpets and bathrooms were not as clean. The showers were unreliable, with low water pressure and unreliable heat. The staff were not hospitable or conscientious and the hotel listings we’re confusing. No food is available from the hotel. Overall the space had a dreary colonial vibe."

"Huone oli harmiksemme täysin eri kuin kuvissa. Huoneessa ei ollut lämmitystä, joten siellä oli hyytävän kylmää ja kosteaa. Huone oli myös likainen ja sieltä puuttui mm vessapaperi. Aamiainen oli yksi paistettu kananmuna ja leipää. "

"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

"The Scottish Planter is situated in the middle of tea plantations, which give an amazing landscape. The service is excellent, always here to help. The rooms are quiet spacious and very clean."

"Nice place, attentive staff. Good lobby with comfortable sofas. Close to the center and shops. They have shared kitchen so you can cook if you have special diet. And kitchen is clean which is not common there"
