"Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. They tried to accommodate me with instant coffee and milk. Workers are nice. Basically for Chinese visitors. "

"I can’t say enough about the 4S Explorer. 4S service and dining (mostly) on a dive boat There are other water activities for non divers but Palau is for diving ! I’ve been diving for 30 years and this was hands down the best diving I’ve ever done. I only wish I had a few more days Already planning for the return trip. "The property claimed it was a bed and breakfast, but it was a dorm type of living. I arrived at night and all I saw were single men outside at the gazebo. I was traveling with my family for an emergency death in the family and this did not feel like a safe space for me, my family, or my belongings. I decided to go to Palaysia for $30 more than this price. Do not stay here unless you are single and leave no valuable items in your room!"

"This property is so beautiful, from the balcony in our room we looked out over jungle and it was covered so we could sit and watch rain showers roll over. The main restaurant seems to be permanently closed but there is a little bar with food and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the main road with many restaurants and stores.
