we were very satisfied staying here. The buffet was excellent. However, I do not recommend eating at the themed restaurants. The food was not that good. Again the buffet was great. The staff was spot on. on the premises, we watched a Michael Jackson show and that was amazing. This place was a good value for the money we paid.

Grand Sirenis is going through a lot of construction, and it's not as focused on customers. Sirenis main focus is their Club members who obviously get better service, meals, and rooms. Limited transportation to rooms is a constant problem, especially at night. Many customers had similar gripes about lack of carts or personnel. Lots of dust and noise from construction and I'm pretty sure it will look nice once they are done. AC unit was noisy in the room so had to get used to it. Some of the towers are dated and will eventually need a facelift. Japanese restaurant was lacking good air conditioning and smelled humid inside. Most of the staff were excellent and friendly. Taxi prices are ridiculous anywhere you go. Better off renting a car at the airport. Food at the buffet was better than average and in some cases pretty good. Overall this place has great potential and would probably visit in a couple of years once the dust settles.

Although we arrived early and couldn’t check in for 6 hours, The staff were excellent and made the experience better. Food was alright, also somewhat mediocre. The resort itself was nice yet certain aspects need updating, especially in the rooms. Things look nice from afar but up close the room furniture was dated, DIY painted and stained. Half the resort was closed for construction and renovation which was not advertised for when we booked. The lazy river is lovely, the aura swim up bar and pool was very nice and had a good energy. There’s lots of places to eat, some were great like the Japanese restaurant and Mediterranean. It’s a more walk-about resort, there are not a ton of carts to take you to and from rooms. They more-so need to be called upon. The beach is beautiful. It’s a bit on the rocky side but the small island with ruins on it was a cool touch. Would be a much better view if the bushes weren’t blocking the ocean views from the beach lounge chairs. Lots of wildlife and nice landscaping. Great drinks, always was generous and tasty, and awesome bartenders. Overall 7/10!

This was my second time back and I loved it. I also want to thank my concierge Omar Flores for awesome communication and making me feel comfortable. I also want to thank this Resort for helping me to enjoy my Birthday. They made me feel very special on my special day. This is honestly the best resort I have been to. Everyday is so nice and the food and drinks were amazing. My 2 year old even said he wants to comeback.

Shower was missing a door that never got fixed, staff yelled at the wedding guests and were rude, the shuttles didn’t come every 15min as they said… it was more like 30-45min and everything is far (10-15min) which is not great at night in the rain when crossing the jungle within the resort. What is even worse is that they didn’t help shuttle elderly or families with children in the middle of a rainstorm for an 8am pickup… they said they would only shuttle bags. Overall it is not worth the price you pay for.

We went to the resort and were unaware of all of the major renovations that were happening. The main pool was closed, the deepest and largest pool with the swim up bar, and most of the restaurants were closed. We were only able to book 4 restaurant spots in the 9 nights that we were there due to renovations. The main pool that was closed was the one which was right outside our room which meant we had to walk quite a ways everyday to get to a pool or the beach. Many walking paths on the property were also closed which meant we had to walk all the way around the resort to get to the lobby instead of the straight path that would have been without the renovations. There were no clear signs to indicate which walking paths should now be taken during renovations so getting around the resort was a complete maze and made for a frustration time when trying to find different areas of the resort. There was not many if not any transportation carts around during the day so receiving a ride to the lobby was not an easily accessible option. One of the bars was also closed the entire time we were there as well. Very disappointed that Expedia DID NOT give any indication of the renovations at all let alone how extensive they were. It completely changed our perception of the resort and going in unaware of these major renovations is completely unacceptable on expedias part.

The beach was the best part about this resort, but unfortunately the rest was defined by inconsistency. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being very nice and helpful, with others acting like they didn’t even want to be there. The state of the resort was a bit of a mess as well. They were clearly making numerous updates or renovations which affected the overall feel of the resort. Then the worst part was the walkability. If you weren’t lucky to catch a cart to transport you, then it was walking to and from your destinations. We even called ahead for a cart once and it was either taking a long time to get there or simply ignored our request, so we ended up walking. Overall, I think the resort has potential, but is not there yet.

Major constructions happening and a lot of restaurants closed. Due to constructions. Guests need to stay at the far end of the resort, and walk a ton to get anywhere. The black trollies are only for members, but the regular ones are difficult to secure. With small children is very difficult to make them walk so much! I complained a whole bunch and they did try their best to accommodate us

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It is amazing in every aspect. Swimming pools were wonderful, the beach was outstanding. The booking of the restaurants was easy lots of choices, the food was delicious. With the property being so large, even though there were lots of people you never felt crowded. I would highly recommend staying here the crystal blue water was amazing for snorkeling. All the staff were very welcoming. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

There was a lot of construction = lots of walking. The # of trolleys for non-members was too low. They did move us r/t mobility challenges. New rm had broken shower, toilet seat and phone. Most were fixed. Staff were great. Very friendly

Property Setting and Design were really good. Main buffet restaurant was good and well provided. Above average for food quality and service, poor ice cream though. The beach is small but beautiful and clean. Great for swimming. The coral is all dead though. Service on the beach was BELOW average. Room #2129 was good although affected by the renovations. Some days you would hear hammering until 9:30pm! and many days the construction noise would start around 8am. Also the room cleaners would start dragging the furniture on adjacent rooms very early in the morning without any consideration to other guest. MASSIVE RENOVATIONS/NO CONSIDERATION/NO COMPENSATION..although necessary, you would expect that the hotel and Expedia would alert about this situation at the time of booking. Clear messages were needed about the scope of the works and how those works are going to affect your stay. Many services, like fine dinning, were extremely limited. Some days you would have to walk long distances through poorly illuminated corridors to get to your room. Couple of times we even found hotel staff unable to help because they were also struggling to find their way. The hotel would not provide extra shuttle services that would have contributed some relief (basic planning?) Some common areas along corridors and passages were littered with plastic bottles, banana peals and garbage.
