"The Grand is an iconic hotel with lots of character, but is now looking a little tired in places…chipped paint, thick layers of paint, dented wood / door frames, worn carpets (in high traffic areas), dated bathrooms..etc, hence there is a multi million pound refurbishment plan in place…to bring it ..."

"I like the hotel, always clean and friendly staff. Convenient for station and station car park. Food and drink is overpriced compared to other hotels and bars in Brighton, especially the spirits. So definitely one of those where you're better grabbing your own food and drink"
