Brighton Marina consists of a harbour full of boats and a maze of houses overlooking the English Channel. The 127-acre (51-hectare) labyrinth is charming in its simplicity and is home to gated communities with townhouses and apartments. Spend the afternoon browsing its various leisure centers, shops and restaurants with waterfront views.
Browse the Village section to see the sleek luxury boats on display. Capture photos of your favourite vessel and imagine taking it out to sea. This part of the marina is well equipped to serve the local community and visitors, with a cinema complex, a leisure centre and numerous shops. Look for tenpin bowling and a casino, where you can try your luck. Spend the day at a spa to really relax with massages and beauty treatments.
Appreciate the picturesque views of the communities of houses and yachts. Stay for sunset to enjoy the romantic ambiance. Dine at one of the restaurants overlooking the harbour. Select from an eclectic range of dining options, from Indian or Italian restaurants to local fish and chip shops.
Make your way to the arcade area, where you will find arts and crafts shops and other one-of-a-kind spots you are unlikely to see in the city centre.
Attend comedy evenings, charity walks and other activities. Find out the scheduling details for regular and special events at the marina at the tourism office or on the official website.
Brighton Marina is on England’s southern coast, about 3 miles (4 kilometres) southeast of the city centre. Walk east along the beach from Brighton Pier for just over 30 minutes to reach the marina. You can also take a bus from the city centre directly to the harbour. Nearby attractions include the East Brighton Golf Club and East Brighton Park. If you are driving here, use the free parking beside the marina.
