"We had a nice stay at Balgownie. We were treated to a complementary wine tasting, the grounds were very nice, the breakfast was excellent and the room (admittedly, we chose the “standard” room) was adequate. The gym was untidy, the AC didn’t work in the gym (nor did the Wi-Fi) and it’s a small gym/pool area. It’s a nice location for exploring the area."

"Great stay for large group of 8, comfortably slept 4 couples. Stayed there for a wedding nearby. Great large space, great kitchen, beds we’re comfortable and used the swim pool and bbq! Great hotel customer service and friendly staff Great parking out the back "

"Stayed here for a second time. This boutique hotel is modern, I love the decor and design, the beds are so comfortable, the setting is gorgeous and the restaurant delicious! Highly recommend and I’ll be back! "

"What a beautiful place to get away with the wife, so much detail has gone into making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Great breakfast provided, an awesome view off the decks and alot of peace and quiet. Very close to the best wineries and the chocolatier. "

"Great property. Lovely and clean. Spacious apartment with balcony. Lovely owner whose attention to detail did not go unmissed! We loved the handy location a very short walk to the centre of Healesville. Handy for shops, bars, restaurants, Jayden Ong's Winery and and the brewery as well as the pubs. We parked up and didn’t need the car for our 2 night stay! Four Pillars only a 10 minute walk away. We will be coming back again as we enjoyed it so much."

"Easy check in, super clean, not that motel smell you usually get, not stuffy. Aircon was welcome. Lots of surface space. Great bathroom. Only rated the staff 4/5 because it was just transactional. Not bad service, just no smile, convo ect. We love great customer service/experiences and this lacked that. "
