"The reception staff is very friendly and they sit with you with a map and point out the good restaurants as well as places to visit. However be prepared as you will only get one small bottle of water per stay and if you call for them to provide you with ice they will charge you 10 Euros to bring it to your room. Additional water is also 5 Euros so you are better of walking around the corner and buy a big water bottle for .50 Euro. "

"The hotel’s location is excellent, right near a vaparetto stop. Staying at this hotel gives you a small taste of life in Venice; challenging! You might have to carry your luggage up to four flights of stairs. Many of the rooms will hear party noises (coming from the bars and restaurants around it) most of the night. "Overall, the hotel was good for the price. Venice is VERY expensive, so I feel the hotel was a good value. The staff were very, very nice. We were cold and wanting to change into warmer clothes. A room was available and they were able to get us checked into our room, so we could change and hit the streets. Our room was dated, but more like added charm and experience of Venice. Only real complaint I had was you could hear everything. The people in the streets laughing and having a good time....
