"We stay here often to visit my wife's mother in Westbourne. Every one is very friendly. The bar is very reasonably priced. Beds comfy and their prices are very reasonable. It's not 5 star but when you only need a bed for the night it's perfect. Yes the hotels a bit tired in places. If you want to pay twice the amount go 5 star but here is good."

"Overall good experience and nice looking/good facilities. However our room was not completely clean. There were orange stains on the duvet and pillows (on the covers as well as the actual pillows) and red on the sheets, stains on carpet and dirty windows and windowsill which when condensated had orange drips coming down. Only other annoyance was trying to enter the hotel later at night, we had to wait 15 mins for someone to let us in when supposed to be 24hr service. Other than that nice stay...

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was we'll stocked and enjoyable. The swimming pool was closed but fortunately we were able to walk to the hotel next-door and use their swimming pools. The Sauna and Jacuzzi facilities would have been very welcome, if only they were working! The room that we had on the same level as the reception wasn't great, as we didn't have any kind of view from the window. We were offered another room but declined it, as it was even less suitable...

"We have visited this hotel a few times as we love the spa and bar. The staff are polite and the hotel is clean and worthy of its 4 star. They have a great range of gins and lunch was delicious. However… The bathroom in our standard room was tiny!!! It was like an aeroplane toilet and the shower tray was slippy and so small that you couldn’t even step back to wash your hair. I wouldn’t recommend room 34. The spa no longer has loungers which is a big shame as I love relaxing on them and they now...
