The steps to the bedroom are very narrow and steep with a difficult landing at the top. Coming down the stairs takes some cautious negotiation as the railing does not go to the top of the stairs. "This quaint cottage is just what we needed for a family early Christmas celebration in Gettysburg. The location was perfect, easy to get in and out of downtown Gettysburg. The area is quiet and serene. The house was clean and offered lots of little perks, including games! We had so much fun and will consider it for sure again when we come back.! "

The second bedroom is on the 2nd floor and more geared for children but the first floor bedroom is very comfortable and both beds gave a great nights sleep. The rental is in a quiet location but near several restaurants/cafes and stores; the description is 100% accurate, it was very comfortable and clean.
