"Classic old house that has quirky 70s-80s decor but very clean rooms with nice linens and well-kepted grounds. It was a comfortable stay for the night. It was a walk to downtown which is about a half a mile downhill but a convenient car ride. wrecommend it as a stay in meyersdale."

"Enjoyed our stay for one night as we explored the lower end of the GAP cycle trail. Nice storage for bikes and approx 1 mile away from the start of the GAP trail and C&O Canal trail along with some nice breakfast spots on Baltimore Street in a revitalized area of Cumberland. Hope to be back again to check out the C&O Canal trail"

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"

"What an interesting house, shaped like a mushroom. There's a small collection of a dozen or so of houses like this, with a central core and the rooms clustered around a central spiral staircase. You enter upstairs from a deck, and the house is round with tree-level windows in every room. Really unique! The house is nicely equipped and the bed was by far the most comfortable I can remember in any of the VRBOs I've stayed in. The only issue I had was that the windows are not designed to open...
