"Best location 3 mins walk to Hohenschwangua and at the foot of 30mins walk up to bridge and Neuchschwanstein Castle. Excellent free breakfast and free hot drinks in the morning and had dinner in the restaurant with view of the castle everyday. Discount in the gifts shop. Free parking if you get a spot. We left our car there all 3 days. Great hiking around the area too and the lake is so beautiful."

"Excellent location. The halbpension was great value. Wonderful breakfast and Andre(?) , the food director, did an outstanding job at dinner. The spa is also a nice treat after a day of touring the castles. The place is huge and any kind of service is difficult to come by. Also our room in the Alpenrose section had a very strange layout…half the space was taken up by a large bathtub. "
