No smoking.. Twizell Cottage is a charming end terrace, in a quiet backwater location of Alnwick. From the entrance there is a good sized living room, with plenty of comfy sofas to relax on, catch a movie on the many that are available through Netflix the owner has provided. The open plan kitchen and dining area is perfect for staying in and enjoying meals together, but with so many good places to eat just minutes from the doorstep you could easily be tempted out for the evening. Upstairs are two bedrooms a kingsize double and twin beds provide a good night’s sleep, and wake up revived and refreshed from a shower in the family bathroom, the underfloor heating will keep those feet warm. Outside there is a private allocated parking adjacent to the property. Swansfiled park, can be accessed via the Avenue (next to Swansfiled park primary school) which is convenient for walking your four legged family member.
Harry Potter fans will instantly be drawn to nearby Alnwick Castle, the location for Hogwarts in the films. Alnwick Gardens is also worth a visit, explore the world’s largest tree house within the grounds.
Home to some of the most outstanding coastline, the region consists of 20 miles of golden sands, coastal villages and lively harbours. Numerous castles and historic sites makes this area an ideal spot for all to explore. Away from the coast there are a wealth of rivers to test your fishing skills, walkers can be challenged with lengthy walks or shorter rambles, cyclists will enjoy the virtual traffic free lanes, forest roads and bridleways. An ideal location for that short break or relaxing week. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

The parking space allotted to the house is directly opposite the rear steps, please note that this is a town property with limited outdoor space and although there is a small rear yard, the is not a secure area for pets, however there is a local park just up from the local police station about 10 minutes walk from the house.
