The facility dates back to the 1960's, and it shows its age and some neglect. Little has been done to maintain or update it. "The Holbrooke is a beautiful, old property that holds a lot of history and charm. It’s within walking distance to all kinds of great shopping. It was very clean and comfortable. I had the Alaskan cod for dinner and it was the best I ever had. Hats off to the chef. If there is a down side, because of it age, it is thin walls and creaky floors. You can hear your neighbors. Luckily mine were as quiet as can be. Other than that, its charm is apparent when you drive up. A lovely stay for sure. "
