The room did not have an iron, which we had to ask for (but it was delivered promptly) . We were not given a non-smoking room that we had requested in advance . The gym was small for a hotel of this size, and dominated by a personal trainer. . the swimming pool was without an attendant for quite some time."

"As always, an amazing experience. The staff does everything to make one feel at home. No one is too busy to stop and have a quick chat. Going above and beyond is an ingrained part of their service. I have stayed at this property since I was 10 and now 4 decades later, I have seen it through various phases. The new management is a breath of fresh air and is restoring the Imperial Delhi hotel to its glory days that had been lost with time. One will not regret splurging on this grand experience."

The breakfast had lots of good options (north Indian, south Indian, eggs to order, cereal, etc), excellent coffee (cappuccino or americano is no problem) and excellent access to the metro.
