"Everything was top class. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed, toiletries, TV, tea tray all great. Breakfast was high quality. Very enjoyable. Guest house is right in town so you can walk to shops restaurants and good pubs. Highly recommended. "

"A brief but very pleasant stay! I slept over before a trail marathon the early the next morning in Grizedale Forest. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful. They offered to run me down to the start line, I needed my car, but that was very kind! They supplied me with coffee at 6:15am made my porridge and provided a a take away sausage sarnie which I ate when I finished the race and was like heaven at that point! The room was very clean and comfortable for the night and I had a lovely meal at Billy’s round the corner (4mins walk). "

"This is a very welcoming hotel. Ample on site parking and super dog friendly. Everyone of the staff delivered a high standard of customer service. Food is excellent. We stayed in a standard sized room which was very clean and comfortable. I will return but next time I will go for a larger room as I found the standard sized room bathroom a bit small for my large size frame ( I’m over six feet tall. ). "
