"This cabin had everything we were looking for. Its location was perfect for the event we attended at Devil's Backbone. The setting is so relaxing. "The hosts ad property were fantastic! My wife, son, and I had a relaxing and recharging weekend stay here on the river. We hiked crabtree falls, and from there the only entertainment we needed was listening to the sounds of the river behind us as we enjoyed our stay. "This is a beautifully renovated, tastefully decorated, cozy home in a somewhat remote area of Virginia but within range of Monticello, many wineries and several other attractions. It had all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. The beds are super comfortable, all the appliances are new and in excellent condition. The hot tub is a nice addition as well as the fire pit. All in all, an excellent property which I would not hesitate to recommend to others or return to in the future."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. Just right for 2 ….. walked along the river (didn’t have time for the kayaks I’m afraid…). Sat out side under the patio in the back…. super quiet. Ran the quiet country road in the morning. Very comprehensive kitchen set up….hot showers and the best towels ever. Not bougie….very homey. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend."
