"We stayed in a historic room for $1 more than an updated room. Good thing, because I would have been upset if it had been considerably more. The bed was updated and amazingly comfortable with a variety of pillows. The room itself was shoddy. Even a historic room can be properly maintained. (Missing tiles with dirt, peeling and bubbled paint, dimly lit hallways were creepy, etc). Beautiful lobby with good front desk staff. LOVED access to spigots for natural spring water.
