"A very pleasant surprise to find a reasonably priced hotel that delivered on all fronts. Really helpful member of staff on our arrival ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Room e had was spacious even with 3 beds and everything was clean. Perfect for a 1 night stay."

"The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out"

"Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view. "The effort to make each set of rooms feel time authentic yet have all the mod cons was amazing. We had dinner, a three course set meal which offered great choice and excellent food, service and all round experience. Would definitely return a d recommend to all. "

"We found the lady at check in to be an absolute delight. Personable, well-spoken and helpful. Our room was larger than expected, spotless,and quiet (top floor). Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and well stocked. A bit more expensive than some hotels in the area but worth the extra!"
